Founder & Editor

Sana Mabena

Sana Mabena is the Founder and Editor of SizaNazo365, an independent South African digital sports publication.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and has more than eight years of experience in journalism, communications and digital publishing.

Throughout his career, Sana has covered a wide range of sporting events and community issues, developing expertise in news reporting, interviewing, research, script writing and multimedia storytelling.

His professional journalism experience includes:

  • News Reporter – Tshwane Sun
  • Sports Reporter – SABC Radio
  • Freelance Reporter – GroundUp, a South African non-profit news agency

Through his work with GroundUp, some of his articles were republished by leading South African news organisations, including News24, TimesLIVE and The Citizen, expanding the reach of his reporting to a national audience.

As Founder and Editor of SizaNazo365, Sana is committed to producing accurate, fair and engaging sports journalism while giving greater visibility to professional, grassroots, school and community sport across South Africa.
