Broos Names Bafana Squad for Panama Friendlies – Full Team Revealed Ahead of Durban & Cape Town Clashes

Hugo Broos has officially unveiled his final South Africa national soccer team squad set to take on Panama national football team in two highly anticipated international friendly matches later this month.

The fixtures, which form part of South Africa’s preparations for the upcoming 2026 global tournament, will be staged at two of the country’s premier venues. The first encounter is scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2026 at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium, before the teams meet again on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 at DHL Cape Town Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the matches, Broos made a passionate appeal to supporters in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape to come out in numbers and back the national team.

The experienced coach emphasized the impact of fan support, noting that strong crowds often inspire players to raise their performance levels -especially during difficult moments in matches. With crucial preparations underway, Broos believes a vibrant atmosphere in both Durban and Cape Town could play a key role in boosting the team’s confidence and intensity.

Bafana Bafana will assemble in Tshwane on Monday, 23 March 2026, where they will begin their preparations before travelling to Durban later that week for the first clash.

Meanwhile, Panama’s advance delegation is expected to arrive in South Africa from 20 March, with the full squad landing in Durban on Monday afternoon. The visitors will begin training the following day as they gear up for the two-match series.
